President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, recently attended the 79th Bhayangkara Day commemoration ceremony before departing for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Dressed in a brown safari suit and black peci, Prabowo arrived at the airbase around 3:15 PM Western Indonesia Time and was bid farewell by high-ranking officials for his official state visit. Accompanying him were Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, and other key figures from Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. Before boarding the presidential aircraft at 3:30 PM, President Prabowo took a moment to watch military cadets rehearsing a marching band performance with Defense Minister Sjafrie. The main objective of his visit to Saudi Arabia is to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries, especially regarding the organization of the Hajj pilgrimage and exploring potential strategic partnerships. The visit aims to enhance the relationship between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia and foster mutual understanding and collaboration for the benefit of both nations.
