Prabowo Subianto, who will be the President-elect for the term 2024-2029, attended the Technical Training and National Coordination Meeting of the Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN) in Jakarta. In his speech, Prabowo praised President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) as a sincere leader. He acknowledged Jokowi’s willingness to help him despite being rivals in the 2014 and 2019 presidential elections.
The event, which took place at JW Luwansa, South Jakarta, was attended by all elected candidates and regional head candidates on Thursday night (9/5). The purpose of the meeting was to consolidate and synchronize all political forces for the upcoming local elections.
Prabowo expressed his gratitude towards Jokowi for the support he has received. He mentioned that Jokowi instructed his ministers to provide necessary data to assist Prabowo in his future governmental responsibilities. Jokowi also advised Prabowo to introduce himself to world leaders, emphasizing the importance of foreign investments to support economic growth.
Prabowo emphasized the significance of investments in driving economic growth and creating job opportunities in Indonesia. He highlighted the need for factories and job opportunities to support the country’s development. Prabowo stated that he dedicates most of his time to learning about various issues and studying different problems.
