Indonesian Diaspora Optimistic about Prabowo’s Leadership in Middle East

President Prabowo Subianto’s visit to Middle Eastern countries such as Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt in early April 2025 has sparked optimism and high hopes among members of the Indonesian diaspora, including students. Maulidya Nur Islami, representing the Indonesian community in Turkey, expressed pride and happiness at the President’s visit, viewing it as a positive momentum for both countries. Similarly, Muhammad Munirudin and Muhammad Syarif appreciated Prabowo’s personal attention and direct engagement during the visit, with hopes of stronger cooperation between Indonesian and Turkish presidents in the future. In Qatar, Rifki Nur Muzaki conveyed enthusiasm on behalf of the Indonesian community, aspiring that Prabowo’s visit will continue to inspire pride in Indonesia. The Indonesian diaspora in Egypt also welcomed Prabowo’s visit, anticipating a positive impact on education development for Indonesian students in the country. Overall, members of the diaspora in these countries offered prayers and well wishes for Prabowo as he embarks on his leadership journey. Since April 9, President Prabowo has been on official visits to various countries in the Middle East, including the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt.
