“I have to go to their garage and remove number 93. This brings more pressure because Marc is an eight-time world champion,” he said, quoted by MotoGP.com on Friday, August 30, 2024.

The mental burden must be responded to calmly and stay focused while representing the Nadia Padovani team next season. He believes there will be differences between experienced riders and himself as a newcomer.

“I have to stay calm, work step by step. I am a debutant, not an eight-time world champion. So we have to focus on our own work,” he said.

Aldeguer is not the best in Moto2, especially this season. During the races, he only collected 112 points and ranked 5th in the current standings.

He obtained these points thanks to four podium finishes and two wins. Hence, it is not surprising that there were rumors circulating that the Spanish rider would not be considered by Ducati Corse due to his declining performance.

“When you hear people say you don’t have a place in MotoGP next year, you don’t have a team next year, it doesn’t feel good. But I have been working hard every day for this year’s title, and arrived at MotoGP in the best condition,” he said.
